Where will you likely utilize your stroller Are there grassy parks or sandy beaches? Or rocky paths? All terrain strollers can deal with these types of terrain.
Baby Jogger Summit X3
The Summit X3 is one of Baby Jogger's most popular strollers. It is a hybrid jogger/stroller which can be used for walking or jogging on any terrain. The large air-filled tyres and all-wheel suspension provide a comfortable ride for your little passenger. Its padded seat reclines almost flat and is suitable for newborns*. The vents on the top of the seat enhances airflow while the seat is reclined. The adaptor included allows this model to work with most infant car seats. It comes with a one-hand compact folding that is quick and simple.
It's on the expensive end of all-terrain running strollers, like the BOBs. It has a lot of positive aspects. The single-action breaks produce the sound of a soothing click and are simple to operate, even when holding your child. The hand-operated brake can be useful, particularly when climbing uphill.
The handlebar also comes with a remote-action locking system that swivels. This allows you to quickly change from swivel mode to locked mode for running without having bend down and rub against the front wheels, which may be dirty or muddy. When you're done, simply flip the lever to return to the swivel mode.

The Baby Jogger Summit X3 features an enormous UV50+ canopy, with side air vents, and windows that can be opened for peek-aboo. The canopy provides plenty of coverage to protect your child from the sun and can be adjusted to meet the changing weather conditions. It is designed for walking at 6 months and running from 9 months. It is foldable using the handle of the seat. This is quick and easy, even when you are holding your child. When folded, it's compact and secured by the Velcro strap.
BOB Gear Alterrain Pro
The BOB Gear Alterrain Pro is an extremely rated jogging stroller that features a high-quality suspension to ensure your child has an easy ride. SmoothShox is a company-specific technology that absorbs jerks and bumps, minimizing the impact on your child and yourself. It is different from other brands, such as the Revolution Flex 3.0 which has an excellent adjustable suspension, but lacks the same technology as the Alterrain Pro.
The jogger's massive 16-inch rear wheels as well as the front wheels of 12 inches are designed to glide over uneven terrain and offer a great deal of maneuverability. The wheels are filled with air to provide a layer of comfort for your baby with the highest performance and durability.
Despite its weight, the Alterrain Pro is easy to move and takes a short time to set up. It also includes a helpful user manual and no tools are required to put together. The Alterrain Pro is travel-system-ready and compatible with a range of infant car seats from brands such as Britax, UPPAbaby, Chicco, Graco, Peg Perego, and Cybex (car seat adapters are sold separately).
Its sunshade scored better than most of the others we evaluated. It covers to the knees, providing exceptional protection against harmful UV radiation. It also has a cushioned, sling-style seat and a reclining back that is easy to operate by pulling down on a single lever with a hand. The padding on the leg rest extends to the footrest made of plastic to give you extra comfort. The Alterrain Pro has a sleek and modern appearance and feels more finished than other models from the brand. The aluminum frame tubing has minimal left-to right flex and the stitching around the handlebar, canopy and basket is neat and neat with no tangled up fasteners.
BOB Sport Utility
This stroller is available as either single or duallie versions for parents who are serious about their outdoor adventures. It is designed for off-road use with knobby tires, a high-impact polymer wheel that increases traction. The fixed front wheel helps with stability when jogging and assists in traversing difficult terrain. Its modern adjustable suspension takes care of any bumps along the way. It has a handlebar which can be adjusted to fit parents of different heights, and a large storage basket for all of your equipment.
BOB Sport Utility scored 6 out of 10 which is lower than only the BOB Ironman, our top-rated model. Its suspension, oversized wheels, and air-filled tires make it more comfortable to run on, and its suspension system and air-filled tires help absorb the impact of rough surfaces than smaller tires on strollers that are competing (including our other BOB models including the Revolution Flex, and the Thule Urban Glide 2, both of which scored 9).
The Sport Utility is very good in its maneuverability, but isn't as easy to turn like other models reviewed in this review. It requires turning the handlebar backwards to turn, which is fine on flat surfaces, but could make it harder to navigate tight spaces such as cafes or grocery stores.
all terrain prams www.pushchairsandprams.uk offers the same safety features that the majority of other joggers provide with five-point belts, a foot brake and a hand brake. The BOB Sport Utility can accommodate the majority of infant car seat adapters, that are sold separately. We found the brakes to be flexible and simple to use, but we weren't thrilled that you have to sit on a lever close to the front seat to lock the front wheel, which can be awkward when walking or jogging.
Baby Trend Expedition
This stroller is a great option for families who are on a budget. It has all the necessary safety specs, like a 5-point harness as well as a tether strap, to ensure your children's safety on outings. The handlebar is extra-wide ergonomically shaped rubber grip and is cushioned with foam to ensure comfort. This helps you navigate hills and rough terrain. It comes with a large bin that can store two or more drinks, which is very useful when you are on an extended trip.
The Expedition is an jogger that can carry infant car seats which makes it a great choice for parents with little ones. It's capable of affixing baby Trend and Graco infant car seats using the car seat adapter included and features a lockable front swivel wheel that can be unlocked to jog or lock to allow for easy strolling. It also features a reclined seat that can be adjusted in multiple positions as well as a large storage basket for storage, and reflections for the footrest to increase visibility in dim light.
However the Expedition falls short in several categories when compared to our top-scoring options. It does not have a suspension system to help absorb the impact of bumps and uneven terrain which could make it uncomfortable for kids who are young. The metal wheels won't last longer than those with larger tires, which is why it's not an ideal choice for rough surfaces.
The canopy, which is quite small it doesn't provide much protection or protection from the sun. Despite these issues however, the Baby Trend Expedition is an ideal choice for parents on a tight budget seeking an all-terrain stroller. It also comes with a number of useful features, like a parent tray with cup holders as well as an infant's tray with two cup holders.
Out and About Nipper Sport V4
Out 'n' About, a UK brand, has won legions for its jogging buggies. This model is the most efficient running buggy they've ever produced. It's light and easy to steer however, it also comes with robust 16" wheels that are able to tackle even the toughest terrain. It has a fixed front wheel so it's simple to keep it straight for running. However, you can also use the handlebar's lever to release and let the wheel swivel for easy strolling or hill climbing.
The suspension is excellent especially on rough and bumpy bridleways in the Peak District where we tested it. The brake on the handlebars wasn't as responsive to us as we would prefer and the Nipper Sport V4 cannot be used with an infant car seat or carrier (although it is compatible with an infant insert) and is only used for occasional overnight sleep.
It's fairly straightforward to construct - we completed it in less than 10 minutes and found the steps easy to follow. The hood and seat liner must be installed by you, but it's not difficult. It just takes patience to feed the harness straps into corresponding slits on the cushioned seat liners. There's a small storage pouch that is attached to the rear of the seat, but it's not big enough to accommodate a changing bag.
The Out 'n' About Nipper Sport V4 can be used from the moment of birth, but it is recommended to wait until your child is six months old before using it for running. This is due to the fact that the harness isn't strong enough to allow a comfortable fit for a newborn, so you'll need an additional carrycot or insert for newborns.
